The Inaugural Function of LIS Academy was held in City Central Library Auditorium, RPC Layout, Bangalore on 31st December 2016, 10:00 a.m. The One Day Seminar was also organised as Year End discussion on “Newton’s first law of librarians: Pushing Libraries to the Future”. The program was attended by more than 300 participants. Dr. Satish Kumar Hosamani, Prof. H.A. Ranganath, Prof. T.D. Kemparaju were the guests who blessed the occasion.
